This hammock is one of the best-selling hammocks in the 123 Hammock family.
Hammocks from 123 Hammock are generally slightly cheaper than, for example, the quality brand Tropilex. The hammocks are very sturdy and durable, but if you want a hammock of better quality and with a good story, here at we always recommend the Tropilex hammocks.
Incidentally, hammocks from 123 Hammock are still much more durable and better quality than many other brands. So it's certainly not a bad purchase.
Hammock made from polycotton
Hammocks from 123 Hammock consist of 65% cotton and 35% polyester. This has several advantages.
Polycotton is stronger than 100% cotton. By using polyester fibers, the hammock stretches out less. The hammock also retains its shape better when there has been a rain shower. Thanks to the polyester, the hammock also dries faster.
Furthermore, it's also better for the environment: For cotton plants to grow, many pesticides are used. Of course, our natural world doesn't benefit from this. So if less cotton is used, this is of course more sustainable.

No hammock can be left outside all year round. Not even this hammock.
Fortunately, it is not a problem if this hammock gets wet once. Make sure that the hammock dries again as quickly as possible afterwards. If you are not using the hammock, we recommend storing it dry and not leaving it outside.
Hammock with spreader bars or a classic hammock?
In a classic hammock, you lie more in the hammock. In a hammock with spreader bars, you lie more on the hammock and that is somewhat more unstable. So you are less likely to fall out of a classic hammock. But with a classic hammock, the cloth falls a little over the body and is therefore less suitable for sunbathing.

When you receive this hammock, the hammock will initially be slightly shorter than the specifications. A hammock is made of fabric and will therefore still stretch.
