Strong and comfortable

Thanks to its many holes, a knotted hammock offers cooling ventilation, making it a wonderful summer hammock! The 'Rope' hammock is actually not knotted, but rather braided. This makes the fabric feel very pleasant, even on bare skin.

Tropilex rope hammocks are braided with thick cords instead of hundreds of thin cords. This makes our hammocks extra strong and durable.

And because the 'Rope' is braided with 2 ropes instead of 1 rope, it is also up to 40% stronger than comparable hammocks!

Soft polyester from recycled plastic bottles

A very special feature of the 'Rope' hammock is that it's made out of polyester from recycled plastic bottles. Especially because production takes place in India, where the waste problem is significant.

Fairly and sustainably produced in India

Tropilex production in Colombia and India is as sustainable and fair as possible. In India, for example, Tropilex works with a factory that promotes the emancipation of women. This has led among other things to the adoption of two villages, which provided 60 rural women with employment!
